In 2014, there were 7,700 vaping flavors on the market. The number has surely grown since then. Why is it so popular, what’s the future for vaping look like, and, most importantly, what are the weirdest flavors out there to try?
The vaping trend
Any trend is complex, and vaping is no exception. Part of the draw is that vaping is less harmful than smoking, but that’s not the whole story. Another factor is the efficiency of nicotine delivery.
Perhaps most crucial are the aesthetics of it all. E-cigarettes are enjoyable and comfortable to use, and unlike traditional tobacco delivery methods, there’s no fingertip staining, no noxious fumes, and no garbage mouth afterward.
The future for vaping
The vaping market in the United States increased 25% from 2017 to 2018, and new products are constantly being developed. Prior to 2016, there was no regulation for e-cigarettes, but in recent years the government has mandated that companies submit an application to keep selling. When this plan is fully implemented in 2022, it may mean that only the biggest players in the vaping world will be able to afford to stay in business.
There are some positive signs, though. The deadline for making this application had been set for 2018 but was pushed back to 2022 to allow for more study. Whatever regulation comes into play in the next year years, vaping is definitely here to stay.
Flavors
The most common vaping flavors include mango, mint, and blurpleberry, but for the adventurous, these just won’t do. Variety is the spice of life, and fortunately there is plenty of variety. Here are some of the flavors you need to try in 2019:
Red Bull
Red Bull the drink is supposed to give you wings, and that’s just what you’ll get from Red Bull vaping juice. If you like the flavor of energy drinks, you’ll probably like this one. If you need to work late, this is just the thing.
Doritos
This is one you’ve got to try. You might hate it; you might love it. There’s no middle ground with this flavor. Reminiscent of both nacho cheese and menthol, some describe it as acidic while others can’t get enough.
Espresso
If Red Bull seems like just a bit too much, espresso might be the flavor for you. Of all the flavors we tested, this one seemed be the closest match to the real thing. It’s a bit of a meaty flavor, but if you want to stay alert without the taurine, give this one a try.
Cinnamon Toast Crunch
Cinnamon Toast Crunch vape juice is for anyone who can’t get enough of the sugary, cinnamon and milk combination of the popular breakfast cereal. It’s a balanced, toasted flavor that is sure to please even without an actual crunch.
Hot dog
If you’re the kind of person who dreams of a Coney Island special, you’ll want to at least give this one a try. Will you like it? No one can say; but that’s no reason not to decide for yourself if this really tastes like something you’d put mustard and relish on.
Fruit Loops
Early cereal flavored e-juices weren’t all that great, but the newest ones are spectacular. If you’re a fruity person rather than a cinnamon and toast person, give this one a try. The goal was a vape juice that tastes like Fruit Loops, and we can say that this goal was reached.
Bacon
It’s everyone’s favorite food, now in liquid form! Opinions about this vaping juice vary. Some think it’s just like licking up the pan after the bacon was cooked while others think it more reminiscent of burned leather. You’ll have to decide for yourself, and that’s half the fun of getting the most unusual vaping flavors.
